TheMicroboards Support Initiative supports families, and their loved ones with incorporating a Microboard. We provide:
Up to 60 hours of support to help establish your Microboard.
Personalized assistance tailored to your family’s unique needs.
Comprehensive resources and expert guidance.
Mentorship, networking activities and specialized workshops.
Document review for your Microboard’s incorporation as a not-for-profit.
We are currently running a two-year project, funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, to support families who are ready to incorporate by knowing what Microboards are, and have at least 5 people willing to be part of the Microboard. Microboard members can be: - parents - siblings - the person at the centre of the Microboard - other related family members - friends and community partners. Key is that all members must have a natural, reciprocal relationship with the person at the centre, and be over 18 years of age.
