Looking for an Independent Facilitator?

Independent Facilitators provide a unique type of support to Microboards. They:

• Ensure a person's voice is heard and they are supported to express their goals.
• Identify strategies for expanding the number of people in a person's life.
• Work with family members on succession planning.
• Help to identify community resources and opportunities that align with a person's plan and interests. 
• Keep the Microboard members informed of funding and/or legislative changes.
• Ensure decisions are supported and supports person-directed and based on the person's goals.
• Assist Microboard members to understand and carry out their role. 

Our list of Independent Facilitators know, understand, and have experience with supporting Microboards. This list is simply a trusted referral list; Microboards Ontario does not broker, nor do we charge an admin fee should you contract anyone on this list. It is simply our way of providing you with support you can count on.
