You May Want To Consider A Microboard If:
  • You are looking for a sustainable, supportive and person-directed option for your family member with a disability;
  • You worry about succession planning and ensuring your family member is supported in the community and has a solid network of friends and family;
  • You want an accountable and reliable support for managing your direct funding.

Hear about and read real life stories about the impact of Microboards here.
A Microboard is a group of committed family and friends who join together with a person who has a disability to create a supportive not-for-profit corporation.
A Microboard has one purpose: to support a person with a disability with living their best life, by assisting them in making decisions, and empowering them to express their goals for their life.
