A Microboard has one purpose: to support a person with a disability with living their best life, by assisting them in making decisions, and empowering them to express their goals for their life.
A Microboard May Be An Option If You Are:
- Looking for a sustainable, supportive and person-directed option for your family member with a disability.
- Concerned about succession planning and ensuring your family member is supported in the community by a solid network of friends and family.
- Seeking an accountable and reliable option for managing your direct funding.

You worry about your children’s future, even more so with a child with special needs. Having a Microboard gives the parent some relief that their child’s well being will be taken care of, with the decisions of the Microboard, which is made up of family and friends. In our specific case we have two daughters and once we are gone, all the decisions are made with a group and will be easier for her. - Henry, Parent |
Our Mission
